After months of delays, Downtown juice and raw food shop Shineology has finally opened at 130 10th St. at Jefferson Avenue.

Originally set to open in July, the shop ran into some permit problems with the city’s building inspection department. Shineology hosted a soft opening at the end of November.

Open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Shineology offers 13 different juices, depending on the season. The juices are prepared daily and sold for $7 in 13-ounce glass bottles. Current seasonal juices include Sweet Dreamz, a blend of sweet potato, pineapple, carrot and apple; as well as Rocket Berry Bliss, which contains organic pomegranate, cranberry and honey crisp apple.

In addition to juices, the shop offers three different cleanse programs available in one-, three-, five- or seven-day plans, with each day costing $43. A 48-hour advance notice is required for the cleanses. Each day includes six bottles of vegetable and fruit juices and one bottle of vanilla bean nut milk.

“We make everything daily and absolutely fresh,” said owner Ashima Rae. “It’s as fresh as it gets. … We want to keep it as fresh and alive as possible.”
