The Board of Lucas County Commissioners welcomes you to the 2014 Mud Hens season!
Mud Hens fans are the best in the country. You support our team with record-breaking attendance and a heartfelt, never-give-up attitude. Now in their 13th year at Fifth Third Field — one of the finest baseball stadiums in the country — the Mud Hens have brought over five million fans into our great park, with over half a million tickets sold last season.
Our players wear the Mud Hens uniform with spirit — making fans proud of the Hens’ trademark hustle, teamwork, and Northwest Ohio work ethic. Hundreds of gifted professional baseball players have sported the Mud Hens uniform over the years, including notable players like Bobby Murcer, Curtis Granderson, Danny Worth and Mike Hessman.
Fifth Third Field and the Huntington Center help make Downtown Toledo the place to be for year-round, family-friendly entertainment. Every summer Northwest Ohioans plan family gatherings, social events and work parties around Mud Hens home games. This year, the Mud Hens are excited to unveil an eclectic array of new food options for its loyal fans and enhancements to the BirdCage. The Toledo Mud Hens offer a real bang for your buck with affordable entertainment.
It’s time to dust off your baseball glove, head over to Fifth Third Field and look forward to hot dogs, popcorn, Muddy and Muddonna and an all-around great time.
