Since the Maumee Mirror closed its doors in 2025, there has been a coverage gap that the Toledo Free Press is seeking to fill with the Anthony Wayne Free Press. The Mirror’s writer who covered that area, Karen Gerhardinger, is now on the TFP team, and she has been turning in story after story on her beat. Judging from the views we get from her coverage, residents truly appreciate her treatment of AW government, education, community events, business and more.

Monclova Township is seeking a qualified individual for a Public Works Department position. Candidate will be under the general supervision of the Public Works Supervisor performing a variety of general and preventive maintenance work; and operate a variety of equipment in the repair and maintenance of facilities, equipment, roads, and drainage systems under township control.
