Suzanne P. Lovett, 92, of Avon, Indiana (formerly of Toledo for many years) peacefully passed away on Nov. 13, 2025. She was born in Toledo on Jan. 25, 1933, to Arthur E. and Gladys H. (Paepke) Leitner.

Sue graduated from Whitney Vocational High School and attended The University of Toledo. She was employed as a legal secretary by Fell and Marcus, Attorneys at Law, for many years. She also was self-employed as an astrologer, and had worked at WSPD, K-100, the Astrology World Congress in Switzerland, and the Sue Lovett TV show on Channel 48 in Toledo. She taught astrology classes, lectured, and gave astrology readings at many local venues and events.

A very giving and social person, she was a member of the Toledo Opera Guild, Friends of Toledo Day Nursery, Toledo Symphony League, Pro-Medica Flower Hospital Auxiliary, Ability Center of Greater Toledo, Toledo Woman's Club, Toledo Animal Shelter Auxiliary as well as the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (Ursula Wolcott-Black Swamp Chapter 4-010-OH) and Triune Chapter Order of Eastern Star for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, long-time companion Howard Wittmer Jr., sister Marjorie Finnegan, and granddaughter Jennifer Burrus.

She is survived by her children, A. Grant (Lori) Lovett and Marti (Mark) Burrus; grandchildren, Ryan (Melody) Burrus, Piper (Alvaro) Lovett, and Mason (Ella) Lovett; great-grandchildren, Justin, Jase, Paislee, Payton, and Paige Burrus, and niece Nancy Lensenmayer.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Toledo Day Nursery or a charity of the donor’s choice.
