Edith “Edie” L. McCullough, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Toledo. She was born February 15, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio to John and Hazel (Bruce) McCullough. She grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio, and graduated from PHS in 1969. She enjoyed growing up in Perrysburg and visited often after she moved away for college and career. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University, and two master’s degrees: one from Central Michigan in Psychology and another in Business from Indiana University.

Edie worked as a clinical psychologist for the state of Indiana for 15+ years and then worked as federal investigator for the Department of Labor for 15+ years, retiring in 2009. She was an avid reader and was often reading multiple books at one time. She loved animals and generously contributed to many different humane societies and animal organizations.

Edie is survived by her brother, John (Frances) McCullough and sister, Judy McCullough, niece, Emylee and nephew, Elliott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her foster son, Lee Wilson.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 10-Noon at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
