Debra K. Carnicom, 71, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was born on July 1, 1954, in Port Clinton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Mabel (Cameron) Reffitt. Debra was a 1972 graduate of Port Clinton High School and went on to become a licensed esthetician in the State of Ohio. She most recently worked at Young's RV in Fremont.

Debra had a love for cooking and took great joy in preparing meals for her family. She cherished time spent with her siblings and her beloved granddaughter. She also enjoyed occasional nights out, listening to live music, and meeting new people-never shy and always ready to socialize. Above all, she loved being a mother to her sons, Bryan and Brad.

She is survived by her sons, Bryan (Shelly) Carnicom and Brad Carnicom, both of Fremont, Ohio; her beloved granddaughter, McKayla Carnicom of Fremont, Ohio; and her siblings, Thelma Landrum of Port Clinton, Ohio, Robert (Sue) Reffitt of Arizona, James Reffitt of Walbridge, Ohio, Bill Reffitt of Jackson, Ohio, Minnie Arthur of Danbury Township, Ohio, and Joan (Tom) Trago of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lois Perkins; and her brother, Douglas Reffitt.

Debra will be remembered for her warm spirit, her beautiful smile, her love of family and friends, and her outgoing personality that brought joy to those around her.

To honor Debra's memory, our family will gather privately to share our final goodbyes and celebrate a life beautifully lived. While our service will be intimate, friends and associates who wish to remember her are warmly encouraged to pay their respects at her final resting place in Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton, Ohio.

Debra believed that a single act of kindness could change someone's entire day. In her honor, the family requests that instead of flowers, you perform a random act of kindness that would make Deb smile and proud.
