In Loving Memory of Timothy "Tbone" Lee Moore

Timothy Lee Moore, known affectionately as "Tbone" by his close friends, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024, surrounded by the love of his wife and son. Born on September 18, 1956, in Corpus Christi, TX, Tim was the beloved son of Richard and Caroline (Shaner) Moore.

In 1976, Tim met the love of his life, Terribeth Gordon-Moore, and their deep connection blossomed into a lifelong partnership. They were joyfully married in 1992, sharing over four decades of love, laughter, and adventure.

Tim was a man of many passions. He had a quick wit and a great sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him. After dedicating 30 years of his life to Foundation Park Care Center in Environmental Services, where he retired in 2018, you could often find him unwinding with a ride on his Harley Tri-Glide, feeling the wind and finding peace on the open road. An avid golfer, Tim spent countless hours on the greens of Inverness Club and Highland Meadows, where he found camaraderie and joy. Golf was more than a hobby for Tim—it was a way of life, and he cherished the time spent with friends and family on the course.

At home, Tim had a soft spot for simple pleasures, like sharing Oreos with his loyal Boxer, Cassius. These small moments brought him immense joy and reflected his deep appreciation for life’s little treasures.

Tim was preceded in death by his loving parents, Richard and Carolyn, whom he now joins in eternal rest. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, carried on by his devoted wife, Terribeth Gordon-Moore; his son, Timothy Moore Jr.; his sister, Carol Knight; and his brothers, Terry (Debbie) and Rick (Elaine). Tim was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim’s life during a visitation at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 4 pm – 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 10:00 am, followed by interment at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The American Cancer Society in Tim’s honor, a cause close to his heart.
