Rose Marie Dreier, age 96, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away at Bay Park Hospital on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Rose was born on October 16, 1927, to John Hoffman and Theresa Diemer in Toledo, Ohio. She was a graduate of Waite High School in Toledo, Ohio. Rose married Gerald Dreier, and he preceded her in death in 2018.

Rose stayed busy throughout her life with her homemaking duties. She raised her family with great care. She was a longtime member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Oregon, Ohio. In her early years, she enjoyed being a part of the rosary society and providing baked goods for funeral services.

Rose is survived by her children, Robert Dreier and Janet Fett; grandchildren, Heather Fett, Michael Fett, and Sara (Kevin) McDonnell; and great-grandson, Liam McDonnell. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Eunice Bushmann, Virginia Kunich, Rita Hanley, Mary Catherine Hoffman, and Jack Hoffman, and daughter, Mary Anne Flannery.

Friends and family will be received from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, Ohio 43616. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616 at 11:00am with one hour of visitation prior. Interment will take place following mass at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial donations in Rose’s honor may be made out to St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
