Obituary For Robert T. Calevro

Roger Torino Calevro, 81, of Perrysburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at St. Mercy Hospital in Perrysburg.

Born on September 2, 1943, in Steubenville, Ohio, Roger was the son of Dominec and Mary (Myzk) Calevro. He graduated from Perrysburg High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

On October 12, 1968, Roger married the love of his life, Rosann Zawojski, and together, they shared 64 (57 married) wonderful years.

Roger had a successful career as an SAP consultant, which allowed him to travel abroad. He was an avid golfer, poker player, banjo player and he especially enjoyed a good BBQ—smoking meat to perfection. Above all, Roger cherished spending time and spoiling his family. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, unique personality, and his loving, generous heart.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Rosann; his sons, Craig (Jessica) Calevro and Jason Calevro; and his cherished grandchildren, Ema, Logan, and Roman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Elsie; and his brother, Eugene.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Roger’s name to the Cancer Research Institute. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
