Richard Elwood Ellett, Sr., 89, of Toledo, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at his home. Dick was born June 11, 1935 in Maumee, Ohio to Elwood and Irene (Foote) Ellett. He married Barbara Hughes on November 28, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio and they shared 65 years together.

Dick worked for Libbey Owens glass for ( Years). He enjoyed spending time in his yard, drawing and his dogs, especially Ralph. Dick will be remembered for his sweet and gentle soul and will be missed by his family.

Along with his wife Barbabra, Dick is survived by his children; Richard (Sue) Ellett, Jr. and Tammy Farranger; grandchildren, Jolene (Nick), J.J. (Carissa), Shelby and Brittan (Nate); great-grandchildren, Payton, Keilani and MaKenna. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Dick will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg.
