Randy M. Baumert, 67, of Toledo, OH passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at his niece’s residence in Fremont, OH. He was born on February 2, 1957 in Port Clinton, OH to Howard and Irene (Rife) Baumert. Randy graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1975. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Shipyard Docks in Toledo for over 20 years, before retiring and he also previously worked for Stone Co. as well. Randy’s longtime companion was Gina Arndt, who preceded him in death. Together they enjoyed running their bar, Trot N Charlie’s. Randy enjoyed working on hot rods in his spare time.

Randy is survived by his son, Jared Krieger, brother, Paul and Terrie (Floriana) Baumert, sister-in-law, DeAnna Baumert, and many nieces & nephews. In addition to his longtime companion, Gina, he was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Howard L. “Sarge” Baumert, and sister, Joanne (Baumert) and Paul Brossia.

There will be no services and cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, OH. Interment will take place in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Randy may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
