Obituary For Ramon Garcia

Ramon Garcia, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 12, 2024. He was born August 16, 1948, in Houston, TX to Antonio and Hermelinda (Alba) Garcia. Ray proudly served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the US Army. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in their assembly plants for 37 years.

Ray was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a passion for the outdoors whether it be tending to his yard or hunting trips in the upper peninsula of Michigan with his son, grandson and friends. Ray enjoyed watching old western movies and tv shows. He was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys.

Ray is survived by his wife, Margie; daughter, Annette Garcia; grandson, Zachary; sisters, Rosa Garcia and Juanita (Jerome) Ramirez; stepchildren, Paula Murray, Bobby Rios, and Andy Rios; 13 step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Garcia; and granddaughter, Madison.
