Nancy J. Dewey, 68, of Perrysburg, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born December 23, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Nellie (Duffy) Reis. She married David Dewey on September 17, 1976 and they shared 47 years together.

Nancy was a wonderful housewife who poured her heart into her children. She loved being a mom and attending all their sporting events. Nancy was an avid reader and soccer fan, loved to garden, listen to music and travel; especially to The Outer Banks and Key West.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, Elizabeth (Matthew) McCollough, Abbey (Mike) Engler and Daniel (Jennifer) Dewey; grandchildren, Kennedy, Harrison, Jamal, Evan, Marriona and Sawyer; sisters, Linda (Herb) Hipple and Pat (Jerry) Layman and sister-in-law, Annette Blair. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 5-8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to the impfoodpantry.org, Toledo Zoo or your favorite children’s charity.
