Mona Jeanne Anderson, age 89, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Northwood, Ohio to Albert and Elizabeth (Floro) Martin. Mona worked at Value City Furniture and also sold Avon products. She enjoyed singing, especially Jingle Bells, and spending time with her family.

Mona is survived by her children, Nancy Whalen, and Patricia (Steven) Anderson-Jackson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and her many cats. Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her parents; daughter, Helen; son, Robert; and 7 siblings.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lake Township Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
