Obituary For Leonard Anthony Ferrara, II.

Leonard “Len” A. Ferrara II, 66, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was the son of Leonard A. and Helen (Delich) Ferrara, born on June 26, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois.

Len had served in the United States Air Force as a lab tech during the 1970s, stationed state-side. Len was the owner and operator of “Market Shaper”, an internet marketing company, for many years. He also had a great talent for cooking which stemmed from his proud Italian heritage. Hosting family dinners was a joy for him, preparing home-cooked dishes along with chocolate desserts and the perfect red wine. No one ever went away hungry!

Len also loved his family and enjoyed every minute he spent with them. He was always ready to lend a hand, especially babysitting his grandkids. He loved researching new ideas regarding health and business technology. He valued his Bible study men’s group with whom he was able to connect and find fellowship. He also enjoyed the companionship of dogs, especially his beloved Ash. Len will be fondly remembered by his friends and family for his genuine empathy, comforting voice, and signature hugs (complete with an overzealous back pat).

Len is survived by his sons, Tony (Stephanie) Ferrara and Turner (Heidi) Bertz-Ferrara, grandchildren, Ethan, Aurora and Orion. He will also be remembered by his close friends and family, Marianne Ferrara, Maria Khristov, Marty Matyas, Phil and Philip J. (PJ) Davila. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, April.

Visitation for Len will be held from 3:00-6:00 PM, Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford, Ohio, followed by a service at 6:00 PM. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to an animal rescue or shelter of the donor’s choice.
