Larry “Weez” William Zawisza, 76, passed away on October 15, 2024, in Millbury, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1948, Larry was known for his easy-going, funny, and loving personality. He brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

Larry dedicated 30 years of his life as a truck driver and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 20. His commitment to his work was evident in the diligence and passion he brought to his role every day.

An avid Yankees fan, Larry’s love for baseball was only rivaled by his love for his dog, Schuster. His family and friends will remember him for the excitement and cheer he brought to every game they watched the Yankees win. He was a member of The Commodore Club in Toledo, Ohio, and the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA), reflecting his deep love for his Polish heritage and community.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Doris (Rudes) Zawisza; four stepchildren; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Joan (Buczkowski) Zawisza, Jamie Relford, and granddaughter, Kayla Relford.

Larry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of love, humor, and pride for his community will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Larry’s life will be celebrated privately by his family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of one’s choice, honoring his generous spirit.
