Jami Lee Stiefel was born on October 15, 1961, and became an important part of the Sunshine Communities family in 1987. Jami enjoyed participating in many activities in her vocational program. She was especially proud of her "Build A Bear' with a beating heart. Jami loved her coffee and tea, as well as food, stuffed animals and the color pink. She especially enjoyed her outings going to the movies, eating out, and shopping.

Jami also enjoyed spending time in a specific recliner in the living room of her home, where she watched and interacted with her housemates and staff. She liked listening to music and watching Disney movies at home, as well.

Jami is survived by her three roommates, long time staff, Monica, vocational staff, and many friends at Sunshine.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a brief prayer service and sharing of memories at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 13, 2024, in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee. Jami will be laid to rest at Forest Cemetery, Toledo.

A memorial service will also be held for Jami at Sunshine Communities at a later date.
