Obituary For James "Jimmy" P. Yuille

James “Jimmy” Yuille died peacefully on October 29, 2024, with his family nearby. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 5, 1954, to James and Emma (Spurgeon) Yuille.

From the beginning, Jimmy was super smart. He read from an early age and loved reading his entire life. He graduated from Scott High School as Salutatorian in his class and went on to graduate from the University of Toledo with his Bachelor of Education Degree.

Ice cream, cherry cokes, dancing to Elvis music and going to the movies with his sister were some of his favorite things to do. Watching Tigers baseball and The Ohio State football team on television helped pass his time.

His love of candy, chili and cheese fries, any sweet treat and Chef Boyardee Ravioli were his special treats that he requested until his last days.

James is survived by his brother, Jeff Yuille, and sister, Rosella Young-Broshious; nephews Richard, Robin (Ann), Sam (Debbie), and Terry (Susan) Russeau; niece Andrea (Ed) Russeau; 13 great-nieces and nephews, and 18 great-great-nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on November 5, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service at Walker on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a gift made to The American Heart Association.
