Obituary For Garrett Michael Timbrook
Garrett Michael Timbrook, 35, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 25th at 11:21 am surrounded by his family and friends.
Garrett was an avid gamer. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his family, he would be chatting with his closest friends from all over the country, including his girlfriend, Sahaily. Garrett had a unique sense of humor that kept everyone he came in contact with laughing.
You could find him cheering for the Detroit Red Wings, the Dallas Cowboys, and THE Ohio State University Buckeyes- which we take pride in knowing he was able to watch the Buckeyes win yet another National Championship.
He loved to work on cars and electronics and was an amazing artist. The artistic skills also came out in his work as a metal fabricator/welder with Fisher Metals. Garrett worked on many projects that ended up all over the Toledo area.
No matter what was going on in his life, Garrett was always a phone call away to listen and help those he cared about. What Garrett lacked in words, he spoke with his actions of love and selflessness.
While this is an unfortunate situation, his family takes comfort in the fact that he was able to donate his organs and save multiple lives.
He is survived by his parents Michael and Barbara (Zunk) Timbrook, sister Bridget, brother Dillon, and grandmother Terry Zunk. His uncles Rob (Caren) Zunk, Lee (Jillene) Zunk, Steve (Debbie) Lyons, Bruce Lyons and his many cousins, great aunts and uncles.
He is proceeded in death by Richard and Patricia Timbrook, Robert Zunk, Myron and Kathleen Schimming, and Shirley Lyons.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12-4 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Burial will be private. The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, to please consider a donation to Life Connection of Toledo, 3661 Briarfield Blvd, Maumee, Ohio, 43567 (www.lifeconnection.org) or the Wounded Warrior Project, https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
