Gail D. Warton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, businesswoman, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2024, at the age of 76. She was born on August 26, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio to Robert and Virgene (Thomas) Seko.

She was married to her devoted husband, Sonny Warton, for 55 wonderful years. Together, they owned and operated Schreier's Greenhouse for 25 years, where Gail's warmth and welcoming spirit touched countless lives. She was proud to be known as a good friend and businesswoman, always making friends wherever she went.

Gail cherished her mornings over coffee with friends, found joy in reading, and had a guilty pleasure for "stupid shows”. She was a follower of the stock market and found a thrill in scratching lottery tickets. She was a harbor and mother figure to many, always ready to offer advice and support to those in need. Gail's love for chocolate cake, donuts, and coffee was matched only by her love for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Sonny Warton; daughter Tamra Prieur and her dog, Jax; son Matthew (Daneen) Warton and their dog, Murphy; and her cherished grandchildren: Abby-gayle (Andy), Vanessa, Auggie, Michael, Wilhelmia, Robby, and Lydia. Gail is also survived by John and Pam Warton, and her sisters, Audrea (Dan) Brown and Robin Fuller. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio 43460. A funeral ceremony will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral chapel, with interment taking place at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gail's honor may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
