Obituary For Donald Lublin

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Don Lublin on September 21, 2024, after a brief battle with pneumonia. Don's legacy is one of kindness, love, and humor, touching the lives of many with his warm personality. Born on September 20, 1956, Don lived a life filled with a deep passion for family, golf, and supporting his Ohio State Buckeyes.

Don's most cherished accomplishment was his family, whom he held above all else. He found joy in watching his grandkids excel in soccer and lacrosse, playing golf with loved ones, engaging in online poker, and passing on the art of magic tricks to the younger generation.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, his kids, Jason (Robin) Lublin, Adam (Cayla) Lublin, and Jen (Tony) Zawisza, and his 7 grandkids as well as his siblings Janis Miller, Lynn (Mike) Kline, Patrick (Mara) Lublin and Mike Lublin whose lives were greatly enriched by Don’s presence. His departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, yet they find comfort in the memories and everlasting love they shared.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Larry and Steve.

In honor of Don's memory, contributions can be made to Project iAm, a cause close to his heart, supporting the autism community and providing resources to families in need. Donations can be made at https://acousticsforautism.com/donate/

Don's legacy, as a beacon of kindness and love, will forever inspire us, reminding us of his generosity and compassion. While we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on through the love he shared with us all.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, September 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service immediately following at Walker Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio.
