David was the proud grandfather of Jessi, Tyrias, Jaleah, Kenny, Trinity and Hope. David loved his 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John and Shirley and Jimmy.
The man. The myth. The legend.
David was a man of incredible resilience and faced life's trials with courage and grit. He survived COVID 19, a heart attack, and died twice. He underwent heart surgery including the placement of a pig valve . He battled multiple cancers including LLC, skin, and bladder which then spread to stomach, pancreas, chest bone and prostate. Despite all this, his spirit remained strong. David had a port put in and after and infection lead to sepsis, David entered Hospice care only 4 days before his passing.
David loved watching WWE wrestling- especially with his son Aaron. In his spare time you could find David watching cops, blue bloods, walker Texas ranger, American ninja worrier, rescue 911 and the masked singer. He loved looking at his "porn" which was just car catalogs from the gas station. He sure loved cars. David also liked Ohio state and had a fun rivalry with his son Aaron who likes Michigan. David cherished visits to his aunt Lida in Michigan and riding motorcycles. His legacy is one of love, loyalty, humor, and strength. He was a man who always showed up for his family. No matter what. Who laughed hard, fought harder and loved the hardest. He is deeply, deeply loved and missed.
