Obituaries

Cynthia “Cyndi” L. Campbell, 63, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023, at her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on November 27, 1959, the daughter of Gordon A. and Joan E. (Moore) Venne. After high school she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in education. Her passion was helping children learn and she applied this desire while teaching at RFS Behavioral Health in Toledo.

Cyndi would be described by those who knew her as kind, compassionate and loving. Traits that made her a good communicator and friend to her students. She loved nature and enthusiastically shared that with her grandchildren, Xavier, and Coral. They had many adventures going to various parks, the art museum, and just hanging out playing board games. Cyndi was a great nature photographer and captured its beauty wherever she went, even in her backyard where she maintained her beautiful flowers. Cyndi has always been an animal lover and advocate, even fostering kittens for the Humane Society. When football season started, she could be found rooting on her favorite team, the Green Bay Packers!

Cyndi is survived by her son, Dan Campbell and his wife Kristin, grandchildren, Xavier and Coral, brother Greg Venne and his husband, Paul. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother, Jeffrey Venne.

Visitation for Cyndi will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, with a funeral service to follow at 5:00 PM at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio. Interment will take place at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in the Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery, Perrysburg, Ohio.
