Charles Richard Klingler, 74, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on November 26, 2023 after a long illness. Charles was born on December 12, 1948 to Joseph and Ruth Klingler in Toledo, Ohio. After Charles graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1966, he went on to study pharmacy at The University of Toledo. He started his 46 year long pharmacy career after graduating in 1971. Charles worked as a pharmacist for a variety of companies such as Eastmoreland, Vonwegan, LM Hanf, Riverview, Rite Aid, The Pharm and Walgreen pharmacies.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Klingler and brother, Robert Klingler. He is survived by his wife, Ann Klingler; son, Andrew Klingler; sister-in-law, Patricia Bumpus (Robert); sisters, Joanne Okonski, Mary Ellen Anteau, Catherine Kuchers (Donald), Dolores Matyok, Helen Kelley; brothers, William Klingler (Sharon), Joseph Klingler (Rhonda), Lawrence Klingler (Marilyn); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, Ohio. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Donations in Charles’ name may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
