Obituary For Carole Hostetler

Carole Ann Mayerchak Hostetler, age 70 of Northwood, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of NW Ohio.

Carole was a long-time resident of Las Vegas where she was part of the management team of a small casino downtown. She became a private celebrity limo driver, she was the lead driver on the set of Oceans 11, and then afterwards, the driver for many other headliner celebrities.

She recently was co-owner of Denny’s Time Out Tavern in Millbury, OH with her long-term boyfriend Denny Boos. She found great joy in hosting fundraisers, holidays, and sporting events at the tavern. She had a great love for animals who were naturally drawn to her. Carole was an avid stock car and NASCAR race fan.

She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and fun-loving character.

Preceding Carole in death are her parents Marjorie and Albert Mayerchak of Mercer, PA, her half-sister, Linda Gasper of Hingham, MA and her ex-husband, Cary Hostetler of Somerset, PA.

Carole leaves behind two daughters Natalie Hostetler (Ron Bailey) of Saint Clairsville, OH and Amanda Hostetler of Wisconsin.

Carole grew up in Mercer, PA with her siblings, Linda (Bob) Fimognari of Northwood, OH, Tom (Regina) Mayerchak of Linwood, NC, Margie (Randy) Gerard of Minnetonka, MN and Christine (Anthony) Horvath of Columbiana, OH.
