Obituaries

Beverly L. Lake, 91, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home. The only child or Watson and Luella (Kuhnke) Sangines, Beverly was born January 7, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio.

Beverly was a licensed life and casualty insurance agent and later was a state flinig analyst for Amerisure Insurance Company. She was a member of the Toledo Challengers Motor Cycle Club and enjoyed crocheting and word search. She loved cruises and traveling around the world.

She is survived by her children; Vicki Hartkopf, James (Jill) Lake and Debra Vasquez; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved cat, Elvisy.

Friends and family will be received Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg where a scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551. Memorial donations may be made in Beverly’s name to SPCA in Cincinnati, Paws & Whiskers or Planned Pethood.
