Obituary For Betty Ann McNulty

Betty Ann McNulty, 93, of Toledo, OH, passed away early Monday, April 8, 2024, at Kingston Residence of Sylvania. She was born on March 8, 1931, in Ottawa, OH to Edward G. and Loretta (Rump) Brickner. On October 12, 1963, she married Jerry McNulty, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2014. Betty worked as a secretary for Toledo Public Schools and Champion Spark Plug and also was a homemaker raising a family.

Betty enjoyed sewing, crafting, traveling, and decorating for the holidays, Christmas being her favorite. She loved animals, especially dogs, and dog sitting for her grand dog. Betty was a family person first and foremost and a second mother to her grandkids, who she cherished dearly. Her family loved to watch her laugh and always appreciated her presence and willingness to always be there for them whenever she was needed.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Marcia McNulty, son, Douglas McNulty, grandkids, Sean (Nicolle), Ryan (Jessica), Kate, and great grandson, James Patrick. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Howard (Julie) Brickner and Carolyn (Robert) Warnecke.

A Funeral Mass for Betty will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 N. Stadium Road, Oregon, OH with visitation one hour prior to the services at the church from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Betty may be given to the Parkinson’s Association or the American Cancer Society. Walker Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
