Obituary For Anna May Robbins
Anna May passed away suddenly on April 20, 2024. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Anne Edwards on May 17, 1947. She was a graduate of Libbey High School.
She was employed with the Lucas County Auditor's office. This is where she met her loving husband, and they traveled the world together. Upon retirement she enjoyed being a nana until she got promoted to Great Nana. She was ecstatic about her promotion. Anna May was an avid reader, liked to crochet and has made many baby blankets in her time. She liked to cook and made the best tater salad, fried chicken, and homemade apple pie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, Jack Hoffman, Tim Hoffman and Marty Schweitzer and sister-in-law, Nancy Sue Draut.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Robbins; sister, Barbara Hoffman, sisters-in-law, Mary Lou (Ray) Salazar, Elizabeth "Betsy" Schweitzer; brothers-in-law, John "Butch" & Nancy Robbins, Richard & Trish Robbins; lifelong friend Sue Roesler, daughters, Christine Hartenfeld, Kathleen Robbins, Maryann Robbins; son, Josef Hartenfeld; grandchildren, Ashlee Hartenfeld & Jonathan O'Hearn and great-grandchildren Levi & Bella, along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 2-4 p.m.at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
