Job Description: The Toledo Free Press, a weekly print newspaper being revitalized as a digital nonprofit news outlet, seeks an editor to report and edit the local news of the City of Toledo and surrounding suburbs, ranging from feature stories to public affairs topics. Job responsibilities include news reporting and writing; assigning and editing stories and content submitted by the public; and mentoring student interns. Proficiency in news writing and editing required. The editor creates a daily news budget and works closely with reporters and community partners.
Job Type: Full-time salary
Salary: $60-75k annually based on experience
