Libbey High School graduates of all ages are invited to an all-classes reunion Aug. 30-Sept. 1.

Most of the weekend activities are scheduled to take place at Maumee Bay State Park, said Cassandra Moore, president of the Libbey High School All Classes Reunion Committee.

The three-day event includes a meet and greet, biking, fishing, a talent show, parties, karaoke, baseball and more, Moore said.

Libbey High School closed in 2010 and was demolished in 2012. Moore said the reunion is an attempt to do something nice for grads, especially those who weren’t able to graduate from Libbey because of the closing.

“I have a passion and love for reaching out to our people and being hospitable,” said Moore, who graduated in 1973. She added that she hopes young alum think of the older grads as “big brothers and sisters.”

Registration for the whole reunion is $75 and individual activity pricing is available. The deadline to sign up is Aug. 1 and the first 50 registrants will receive a prize.
